What an incredible day on the course! The Second Annual Coach Horton’s BIG SCRAMBLE was everything we hoped it would be — competitive, full of laughter, and overflowing with community spirit.

It’s amazing to see how much this event has grown in just one year. What started as an idea to honor Jamie’s legacy has quickly become a cherished tradition that brings people together to celebrate the impact he had on so many lives.

To all our players, sponsors, and volunteers — thank you. Your generosity, energy, and belief in what this event stands for made it all possible. Every handshake, every shared story, every moment out there was a reminder of the love and respect this community has for Coach Horton.

Because of your support, we raised an incredible amount for the Jamie Horton Memorial Scholarship Fund. These funds will continue to support deserving students who reflect Jamie’s heart for teaching, coaching, and leadership. Each scholarship awarded ensures his influence continues shaping lives for years to come.

Seeing everyone come together again — familiar faces and new supporters alike — reminds me why we do this. It’s not just about golf; it’s about carrying forward a legacy of mentorship, kindness, and community.
